Hospital birth with a Certified Nurse-Midwife is not only possible, but a wonderful option to consider! Our team of four full time nurse-midwives attend births at Inova Loudoun Hospital.  We are at the bedside to guide women through birth with information, options, emotional support, and careful use of technology, when needed. About half our mothers deliver their babies without medication, and about half choose an epidural. We believe we have the lowest in-hospital C/Section rate in our region. We provide comprehensive prenatal care, with enough time at each appointment to ask questions and get to know each other. We also provide well-woman gynecology, and have Non-Stress testing (NST), ultrasound and lab services available in our beautiful office suite. Come visit and consider this safe, satisfying option for maternity care.
